Long Distant Scooter Review

February 13, 2017 by Julien

Thank you, readers, for wanting to know more about SoCo Scoots ventures into the hills around Sonoma Valley. Not many are complaining as California has been in a drought for years. Recently, however, I’ve had my weekends relegated to helping a friend who owns an overhead crane service and who has taken on jobs dealing with wreckage pulled from mudslides. A dry afternoon has been promised by the area weather guy and it’s time to take the scooter out to sites around the community that have been affected by the vast amount of rainfall, and see if I can help.  Read more…

Road Trip

All things considered, we share our basic love of small get-arounds no matter if we are the best commercial plumbers Burlington Ontario or top rated physicists. The career jacket comes off and the fun, full-of-life jacket goes on when we meet and hit the road.

We share any new knowledge as we get it, but there are a few standard basics that every Scooter/Vespa and Moped rider takes into account.

How To Choose a Motor Scooter

January 23, 2017 by Julien

All the members of SoCo Scoot have their individual preferences in equipment. It’s like all things, we want our personalities to show through our choice of scooter like our choice of scooter color or the clothes we wear. Most of the regulars who join SoCo Scoot on our weekly rides or pub crawls motor around on 50cc to 250cc bikes, but occasionally, someone will show up on a “maxiscoot” and give us a glimpse into a bit wilder personality type.

After leaving work at my COMPANY I would spend a lot of time scooting around on days off which gave me a sense of freedom that a car – even a luxury car, cannot compare. How do you go about finding the scooter that fits your personality? Research is all over the web, but from 14 years of personal experience, allow me to share my thoughts.
