What do you get when you cross a Vino Classic with a computer, GPS, web cam, PVR, TV & FM tuners, WiFi, touchscreen and an electric guitar interface? Nothing short of the best 2 wheeled, war driving, entertainment platform around. Imagine cruising down the road (at a blistering 40mph) watching Lost, chatting with a buddy, playing guitar, and searching for the next geocache you’re going to attempt. Wow, you might just be able to keep your scoot on the road.

Today marks the day that I start writing about two of my passions… Scooters and Computers.

Most of the people who know me, know me from my association with scooters. As the founder of the Sonoma County Scooterists (www.socoscoot.com) I get to meet a lot of people. My love for scooters started about 5 years ago, even before I had a scooter. Once I bought my scooter, an ‘04 Aprilia Custom Mojito 150, I was anxious to ride with others. So I took it upon myself to start a club. Since then the club has grown from just 3 members to over 50. Wow! I never would have guessed that the club would have grown so much.

My other passion is computers. My interest in computers started a long way back when I got the programming cartridge for my Atari 2600. I could write like 20 lines of code before I ran out of memory. My Apple IIe was what really got the fire burning in ‘83. The rest is history… now I spend most of my day on computers, not usually programming, but designing.

I’m not sure where this blog with take me (or you.) It’s mainly an experiment in writing for me and I hope it’s entertaining and informative for you. Please let me know if you like what you see (or if you don’t.) This is an outlet for me and I hope you tag along for the ride.
